My twin brother and I visited Paris and filmed food reviews for @clarkeats1. We focused on budget-friendly spots that still deliver strong flavors.
-
Johanna’s Fish and Chips – We had the classic fish and chips. The batter was golden and crispy, and the fish inside was cooked perfectly, flaky and fresh. The fries were good but could use more seasoning. The portion size was generous, making it a solid choice if you want a hearty meal without spending too much.
-
Chez Nico – We ordered a jambon crepe. The service was fast and efficient, which is perfect if you’re on the go. The crepe itself was well-cooked, and the ham filling was flavorful without being heavy. The price was very reasonable, making it a great option for a quick, cheap, and tasty meal in the city.
-
Da Giuseppe – This is more of a sit-down pizza restaurant, so it’s not for takeout. We had the Margherita pizza, and the sauce stole the show. It was sweet with a hint of heat, perfectly balanced with the melted cheese and soft crust. The atmosphere makes it a nice place to enjoy a meal slowly, and the prices are still very reasonable for Paris standards.
-
Bagel Way – This spot is fantastic if you need breakfast or a quick lunch. The service is very quick, and you can either stay or take your food to go. The bagels are fluffy and fresh, and the breakfast sandwiches are filling and flavorful. It’s a great spot if you’re moving around the city and want something affordable but satisfying.
-
KYS Paris – A Danish ice cream restaurant where the ice cream itself is creamy and smooth. You can add as many toppings as you want, from fruits to chocolate sauces. It’s a fun and budget-friendly way to treat yourself while exploring the city.
Overall, each of these restaurants is budget-friendly and offers excellent food quality. For college students studying abroad, these spots are proof that you don’t need to spend a lot to eat well in Paris.
